Day 15- Week Three: No Candy

Here's day one of the third week. This week I'll be staying off of candy. And I also need to make a better effort keeping off the sodas. So, no candy in any form this week, and then I need to maintain it. This week will be the hardest so far. Lately I've had a bad craving for candy. Mostly Twix, strange as it seems. So wish me luck on this week, and hopefully, I can lose a little by the end of the week.

No Caffeine: Yes!!

25 Crunches: Yes!!

No Candy: Yes!!

Weight: 257.5 Bad, Bad, Bad

Feel: Good today, I'm excited to be making it a little harder for myself. This will be a challenge. It's good for me though.

Day 14

Last day of this week. This habit was a little harder than the last. Getting active for me has always been kind of a problem. But baby steps, right? So tomorrow, I'll be staying off of candy bars. All kinds, and no exceptions. This one will be a really hard week for me.

No Caffeine: No, David brought home a Mountain Dew when he got me lunch at the City Market deli. So I drank that.

25 crunches: Yes!!

Weight: 257. I think the reason I'm gaining weight, instead of losing it, is because while I am breaking one habit, I decide that it's perfectly okay to eat whatever I want, or be as lazy as I want, because I'll eventually get to that habit. But that's a bad way of looking at it. Next weeks, should start to bring me down again, however slightly that is.

Feel: Pretty good. I've had some headaches this week, and I anticipate some more the next. Also, my knees are really starting to hurt. When I walk upstairs now, it's pretty miserable. I've got to lose weight. That's another reason I want to try something a little harder this next week. And if I can keep the other two habits going, then all the better.

Day 13

No Caffeine: Yes!!

25 Crunches: Yes!!

Weight: 257

Feel: Overall pretty good. But I seem to be eating to much candy. I get cravings for certain things at certain times, and can't seem to stop. That will probably be my next habit to break.

Day 12

No Caffeine: No, I just felt like having some soda today, so I drank some of my brothers.

25 Crunches: Yes!

Weight: 257

Feel: Good, but I still feel like I'm eating too much. I think this next week, I may try something a little harder for me, and stay off of candy bars. I really need to break that habit.

Day 11

No Caffeine: Yes!

25 crunches: Yes!

Weight: 257

Feel: Overall pretty good.

Day 10

One more day, but I think I've eaten so much over the last couple of days, that I've gained more weight than usual. Gotta stop that, but right now, just really want to concentrate on each new habit.

No Caffeine: Yes, still going strong there.

25 crunches: Yes!!

Weight: 259

Feel: Way too fat today, and I have a headache.

Day 8- Week Two: 25 Crunches

This week will consist of staying off caffeine (although I did have one class of coke tonight) and adding one habit I'm trying to get into, instead of break. I'll be doing 25 crunches everyday. I want to slowly start in on doing a little bit of exercise every day, and breaking the habit of just sitting all day (between my work and home). Also, as it gets warmer, hopefully I can start my personal training that I get free from my job, and start on some harder stuff.

So, with out further ado, here's week two:

No Caffeine: No, I had one cup of soda tonight.

25 crunches: Yes!!

Weight: 256.5

Feel: Good, but I ate a lot the last few days I was off, and now I'm paying the price. My stomach doesn't feel great, and I added half a pound. But, I still don't feel too bad about that. I fully intend to stop each habit as they arise.

Day 7

I made it the week without drinking any caffeine. Yeah!! Next week, I'll be concentrating on an exercise one. I'll be doing 25 crunches a day.

No Caffeine: Yes!!

Weight: 256

Feel: Really Good. I made it a week, so it couldn't have been all bad. I may even drink one soda tomorrow, then keep at it the rest of the week.

No Caffeine: Yes!

Weight: 256

Feel: Good. My brother brought home a 2 liter of Pepsi, but I resisted that and coffee again today. I think I'm getting the hang of this habit. Another 3 days to go, then I'll just be keeping it going as much as possible, and start on my next habit to break.

Day 3

Here is day #3. I was really wanting a cup of coffee tonight. It was so cold, and it snowed about 8 inches. But I resisted, and I'm better for it.

No caffeine: Yes!

Weight: 256

Feel: Good, I just have to keep in mind that one less soda a day averages a 17 lb weight lose over a years time. Hope it helps.

Day 2

Hey everyone,

Feeling a little sick today, but that doesn't have anything to do with the habit. And I'm actually pretty glad it's such a basic one at this point. I was able to stay off caffeine fairly easy again today, and no headache.

No Soda: Yes!

Weight: 256.00

How do you feel: About the habit I'm breaking, really good. But right now I'm going back to sleep.
